The Director of School Supports provides capacity-building support to charter public schools in Massachusetts, managing professional learning and strategic initiatives to address sector-wide challenges. This role involves fostering collaboration among schools, coordinating regional networks, and enhancing the school quality and sustainability of the charter system. The Director will also manage resources, improve systems, and ensure the success of the school and its associated stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management and collaboration, preferably in a K-12 charter public school setting in Massachusetts.
- Deep knowledge about K-12 education practice, essential components of high-performing charter public schools, and best finance and operational practices.
- Skilled at data analysis to inform programmatic decisions.
- Experience in providing support to programs with multiple sites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Massachusetts charter public schools/leaders.
- Energetic, flexible, self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive.
