Job Description
Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer to join their Civil Engineering Group in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The role involves working on a variety of project types, from municipal to healthcare and affordable housing. Engineers will be responsible for knowledge of construction processes, preparation of technical drawings, and ensuring work adheres to codes and regulations. The position offers varied projects with potential for overtime.
Requirements
- Knowledge and use of computer design and CAD/BIM software
- Preparation of detailed plans and calculations
- Study and application of building code and jurisdictional requirements
- Checking work and coordinating with other disciplines
- Field observation during construction
- Ability to identify, communicate, and document in English
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Investigative skills including identifying and documenting colors
