Job Description
Virginia MetalFab is seeking a motivated Laser Operator to cut parts using a laser. This role requires accurate and timely cutting of various materials, with a focus on machine operation, setup, monitoring, and adherence to production schedules. They prioritize a fun and supportive work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- CNC programming experience preferred
- CNC operation experience or technical training
- Material movement experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Working knowledge of metal materials
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Forklift operator certification
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lb (repeatedly)
- Communication skills
