Job Description
Markit is seeking a Heavy Equipment Forestry Operator to assist in the maintenance, operation, and preparation of tools and equipment. This role involves operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, log loaders, and chain saws, managing forest operations like erosion control and road work, and adhering to safety standards. The position may involve spending multiple nights at project sites and requires a physical capacity to work in challenging conditions.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in operating heavy machinery, forestry industry preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
