Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for our multi-site, multi-division parts and accessories company.
Requirements
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to align with company goals
- Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection and negotiation of contracts
- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control and cycle counting
- Conduct demand planning and forecasting using data analytics and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supply chain activities
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality control measures for supply chain processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate and manage freight contracts for inbound and outbound orders
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions from global events or supplier challenges
