Job Description
The Assistant Teacher will assist the Teacher in the supervision of children ages 18 months to 5 years old and in the overall daily run of the classroom at Booth Memorial Childcare Center.
Requirements
- Assist in creating a warm, orderly and clean environment to promote the development of children.
- Supervise children, paying special attention to health and safety of each child.
- Maintain State Licensing Teacher child ratios of 1:4 or 1:8, daily.
- Assist in the care and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
- Assist in set-up and clean-up duties as required.
- Complete required State Licensing paperwork, such as observations, assessments, DRDP, or other paperwork.
