Manager Product Application Engineering

Manager Product Application Engineering responsible for E&E system component design, integration, and application on vehicle level. Required experience in electrical systems, communication protocols, and homologation requirements.

Requirements

• Desired Competency on E&E System component design, Integration, application on vehicle level preferable
• Detailed design domain expertise on electrical systems like Electrical system Architecture integration like ECU, Sensor, etc.
• Hands on experience on Common rail system integration, LIN Based alternator integration, Engine start stop Logic, Li-Ion battery system Integration & its application on vehicle
• Knowledge of all subsystem of the vehicle to work out the interface architecture for the vehicle
• Moderate knowledge on all communcation protocols like CAN, LIN & PWM
• Knowledge on Homologation requirements of Generators
• Initiate, Interact with CFT & Lead the design engineers for system integration to realise the required E&E feature with Quality, Cost and Time
• Releasing all technical specification to suppliers for components/systems
• Validating the components by making proper test cases in both component and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer
• Meeting the cost targets specified without compromising quality of the product and also bringing out some cost effective solution thro IMCR/VAVE activities
• Knowledge on Field failure & analysis: Analysing on field reported concerns and giving solution to reduce/eliminate it and also capturing that particular issue in upcoming products
• Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components
• Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA,7 QC toolsDesign Reviews & Project management
• Should have Moderate knowledge on DFA,DFS, QFD, APQP, PPAP, GD & T
• Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point,Eplan etc.
