Job Description
The Surgical Services Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient education and activities of interdisciplinary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Requirements
- A graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where practicing.
- Successfully completes orientation and continuing in-service education.
- He/she will be required to be current in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) by the standards of American Heart Association.
- He/she will be required to be certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 1 year of hire
