Job Description
MagTech is hiring a Rotary Transfer Machinist in Macomb County, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe programming experience, knowledge of NPT fittings, and high-volume machining skills.
Requirements
- Program and operate the EM80 Rotary Transfer Machining Center
- Run high-volume NPT pipe nipple production
- Perform threading, beveling, and component prep for downstream processes
- Develop machining sequences and optimize cycle times
- Troubleshoot issues, perform alignments, and handle changeovers
- Manage tooling life, reduce downtime, and optimize efficiency
- Operate secondary semi-automatic pipe threading equipment
- Maintain coolant, oils, and daily machine upkeep
