Job Description
Magic Media is seeking a Lead Unreal Engineer to architect projects and guide production. The role involves collaborating with team members, developing code, and planning for future projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Unreal C++ skills and a passion for video games. They will work closely with management and clients to improve the company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a professional in game development
- 3+ years as a professional Unreal Game Developer
- Great understanding of modern Unreal C++ and Blueprints
- Understanding multiple disciplines in Unreal Engine, AI/Animation/Gameplay programming
- Strong skills in Unreal having delivered a few titles at least, involved in at least 1 AAA shipping title
- Capable of mentoring, from juniors to seniors
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technological changes
- Previous experience as a Lead Developer
- CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab, Plastic SCM knowledge
- A passion for video games
