Summer Intern 2026 - Propulsion

Mach Industries, a rapidly growing defense technology company, is seeking a Propulsion Engineering Intern for its San Luis Obispo facility in 2026. The intern will contribute to the development of next-generation defense systems and gain hands-on experience in designing and building cutting-edge autonomous defense platforms. The role involves both individual research and collaboration with industry experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or related discipline)
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or personal projects)
• Full-time onsite work at San Luis Obispo, CA
• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of application of technical skills outside of the classroom
