Ultrasound Technologist PRN - Denver CIS

Performs ultrasound scans to produce consistently high-quality examinations in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations and licensing requirements. Provides excellent patient care. Quickly and accurately completes all paperwork to include orders, lab work and authorization confirmation.

Requirements

• Examines orders and verifies the patient request for accuracy
• Operates Ultrasound equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body
• Completes required paperwork/orders, email order request and authorization in a timely and accurate manner
• Performs basic patient care functions and informs appropriate nursing staff if needed
• Monitors supplies/stock room/equipment and initiates ordering or repairs as needed
• Communicates with Radiologist for protocols as needed
