Job Description
We're a photonics & fiber optics company passionate about meeting customer needs. We're looking for a co-op student to contribute to automated solutions for next-gen optical transport products, solve complex technical problems, and work in collaboration with Firmware R&D teams.
Requirements
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong object-oriented software design and implementation (any language)
- Experience with any or all of the following: Git, GitHub, Bash, PowerShell, C#, Python, Javascript, XML, gRPC, Jira
- Experience in instrumentation and automation
- Understanding of optical systems
- Experience with optical instruments and optical fibers
