Job Description
Staff Platform Engineer will design and build scalable infrastructure on AWS, develop and evolve internal observability platform, and lead cost-optimization and performance-efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years in backend, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
- Deep experience in AWS and Kubernetes
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Proven hands-on experience designing or operating observability stacks
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, autoscaling, cost control, and performance tuning
- Exposure to FinOps frameworks and AWS Cost Explorer, BigQuery billing exports, or custom cost pipelines
- Programming experience in Go, Python, or similar
- Track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives or mentoring engineers at scale
- A growth mindset and passion for building platforms that empower other teams to move faster and safer
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure
