The Small Animal Internal Medicine Service oversees referrals for dogs and cats. Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM) technicians contribute to patient care, client communication, and provide support for a variety of general and specialized procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR Associate’s degree in veterinary technology; OR CVT or equivalent; OR 3 years of experience in a working environment with similar duties
- Certified Veterinary Technician or equivalent (Licensed, registered)
- Essential personnel. May be required to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and emergency response
- Physical Requirements-Required to be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, standing or walking for prolonged periods, able to reach and/or climb a ladder, bending, squatting, and/or twisting
