Assistant/Associate Professor (Horticulture)

This is a tenure-track position focused on production, processing and marketing of horticulture food and ornamental crops in an urban and rural environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service horticulture programs and conducting research focused on horticulture production systems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in horticulture, agronomy, or closely related field
• Experience in extension programming and greenhouse operation and production
• Good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to develop scholarly articles and educational curricula/programs
