Job Description
LotusFlare is a cloud-native SaaS provider seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Server Engineering team in Pune, India. The role focuses on developing and scaling backend infrastructure for a globally distributed platform, handling millions of API calls. They emphasize code review, testing, and a commitment to high-quality, maintainable code, using technologies like Kafka, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 3+ years of experience with Lua, Scala, or Java
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Good understanding of network stack and HTTP protocol
- Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka
- Experience with cloud services (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong passion for scalable and high-performance platforms
