Clinical Lab Scientist

The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, result review, and reporting. They perform authorized tests and demonstrate competency through education, training, and technical abilities. The role involves operating specialized lab equipment and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in the life sciences or an equivalent field of study
• Two years of experience as a clinical laboratory scientist (CLS)
• Knowledge of medical lab standard operating procedures, software, and equipment
• Ability to perform complex clinical lab tests and interpret results
• Ability to read, write, speak, and use computer programs
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work independently
