Quality Tooling Inspector

Determines methods, sequences, and inspection operations required for precision tools and inspects them for workmanship, accuracy, practicability, and conformance to specifications. Performs inspections in various tooling fields, provides technical information and recommendations, and recommends changes in tool design and engineering drawings.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years as a Jig and fixture builder with knowledge to build tools from start to finish from Tooling Prints.
• Understands the use of Precision tools, Precision gauges and instruments and hand tools.
• Utilizes computerized theodolite and laser tracking systems, such as RomerArm, Metrscan, & handy scan systems.
• Must be able pass Inspector Assessment.
