Mechanical Designer/Drafter

Create, develop and recommend changes to mechanical parts and functional assemblies utilizing CAD tool software. Work remotely as a full-time employee with Lockheed Martin.

Requirements

• Typical minimum of 8 years mechanical drafting experience
• 2-year Technical Degree, AAS Degree in Electrical or Drafting Technologies or apprentice program graduate or equivalent
• Proficiency in CREO 2D Drawings and 3D modeling, AutoCAD 2D, PTC Windchill
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Moderate knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Design Techniques and Materials associated with Electronic Packaging
• Ability to work in a team environment
• General knowledge of ASME Drafting Standards
• Demonstrated leadership skills. Mentor to less skilled individuals
