The Process Engineer is primarily responsible for improving industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
Requirements
- Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes
- Assess processes, taking measurements and interpreting data
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
- Manage cost and time constraints
- Perform risk assessments
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions
- Analyze work flows within and across all departments
- Review KPI monitoring systems
- Create an analytical process that justifies business decisions
- Analyze capital expenditures and project designs
- Work side-by-side with management to discover inefficiencies in business processes
- Act as an internal consultant to develop short and long term strategies
- Coordinate and lead key projects for improvement
- Monitor progress in order to check if changes yield desirable results
