Join Lochner as a Construction Resident Engineer and manage construction projects to ensure contractors' compliance with contract documents. Supervise office and field staff, review project activities, and resolve disputes. 10+ years of experience in managing complex construction projects is required, as well as a Professional Engineer License in the State of Rhode Island.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Rhode Island is required
- 10+ years of direct experience in managing complex Construction Projects, preferably design build
- Knowledge of RIDOT Standard Specifications and Standard Details
- Considerable knowledge of roadway, structure, traffic engineering, construction methods, procedures practice, plans specifications and contracts, materials used and performance and environmental regulations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects
- A valid Driver's License is required
