Job Description
Local Roots is hiring Seasonal Snow Laborers for December–February to support snow operations across commercial and residential properties. This role offers high paying winter work, physical labor outdoors, and opportunity for full-time landscaping employment starting in the spring.
Requirements
- Plowing and Shoveling Parking Lots
- Shoveling and clearing sidewalks, walkways, steps, and pedestrian areas
- Applying salt, ice melt, and deicing materials
- Assisting with snow blowers and small machinery
- Supporting parking lot clearing operations
- Helping plow and salt truck crews as needed
- Following assigned routes with attention to detail and urgency
- Maintaining safety for yourself, the team, and the public
Benefits
- $25–$30/hr depending on experience
- +$5/hr bonus during snow events when performance metrics are met (explained during onboarding)
