Job Description
This position is for an Assistant Financial Controller, responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, accurate financial reporting, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves maintaining financial health, streamlining processes, and ensuring timely financial reporting to senior management. The position reports to a senior team lead or manager and oversees a team of accountants.
Requirements
- Oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, Taxes and managing a team of accountants.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Manage and prepare tax returns (income tax, VAT, sales tax, etc.).
