Eligibility Specialist

LifeLong Medical Care is seeking an Eligibility Specialist at a 7th Street Site in Berkeley, CA, to support community healthcare services. This full-time position involves preparing and submitting eligibility screenings, providing support to patients, acting as a patient registrar and navigator, and contributing to enrollment and outreach efforts. The role benefits a diverse patient community with over 15 primary care centers.

Requirements

• Responsible for preparing all eligibility information for each scheduled clinic patient.
• Interviews and screens new and established patients to determine eligibility for health insurances.
• Registers new patients, schedules appointments, and provides information on LifeLong Medical Care’s locations.
• Tracks and reports all required data for enrollment and outreach efforts.
• Attends meetings and shares information with appropriate clinic personnel.
