Associate Underwriter OR Underwriter, Environmental Impairment Liability

Liberty Mutual Canada is seeking a skilled Associate Underwriter to join their Underwriting team. This role is focused on underwriting responsibilities related to Contractors Pollution Liability, Fixed Site Liability, and Storage Tank Liability across Canada. The position requires collaboration with brokers and management to drive process innovation and maintain a strong EIL profile.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent post-secondary education with relevant insurance designations/ education is an asset.
• Related work experience in the insurance industry is considered an asset.
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills and strong business and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective prioritization of workload and provide superior customer service.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, business, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working toward CIP designation is an asset
