Job Description
We are looking for a Credit & Underwriting Manager to lead underwriting for high-value and complex cases, shape credit strategy, and partner with product, data, and sales to drive growth in the North American market.
Requirements
- Proven experience in unsecured SMB lending for sellers/platforms (embedded or acquiring/ISV ecosystems)
- Direct underwriting experience plus policy/strategy exposure
- Exposure to commercial bureaus and data vendors (e.g., Experian, Equifax, D&B) and decisioning tooling
- Strong Excel and Power BI for cohorting and trend analysis
- Working SQL and Python for data pulls, feature checks, and quick risk studies
- Prior coaching or team-lead experience; builds high standards and a learning culture
