Door Host

The Improv is seeking a Door Host/Hostess to provide excellent guest service during live shows. The role involves managing the entrance, checking age identification, managing seating, and preventing issues with unruly patrons. This position is part of a team delivering a great experience to customers and team members.

Requirements

• Manages the entrance before, during, and after the performance.
• Checks age identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
• Greets guest and seats them at tables per the seating process.
• Monitors the showroom during the shows to prevent guests from talking, heckling.
• Assists management with removing unruly guests.
• Takes steps to persuade customers to stop drinking, or order means of transportation for intoxicated patrons.
• Asks for means of transportation for intoxicated patrons.
