Job Description
Leonardo DRS is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join the EOIS line of business. The role involves the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and existing electro-optic and infrared systems/sub-systems, including architectural design, requirements engineering, and testing. The position is within a dynamic environment supporting military operations and requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background.
Requirements
- Analysis, design, and implementation of electro-optic and infrared systems/sub-systems
- Driving technology and completion of activities on time and budget
- Mentoring and coaching other engineers
- Requirement review and development of designs
- Independent technical project completion
- Leadership of problem resolution and customer partner status acquisition
- Business Development and Program Management support
- Technical expertise and oversight of multiple product lines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet the DOD security clearance or obtain it
