Systems Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing research, developing M&S, algorithms, performance metrics, evaluating algorithms and system performance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with peers and technical staff members within the program.

Requirements

• Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
• Evaluates existing and emerging technologies to enable system/software architecture alternatives to address functional/non-functional product needs
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and extensibility
• Oversee progress of software development team to ensure consistency with agreed upon system/software architecture
