Leidos is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. The role involves research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, high-fidelity radar and RF modeling, simulation, and analysis, and integration and field testing of RF sensors and systems.
Requirements
- BS degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- MS degree and 2-6 years of experience from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Excellent math skills and/or possess and show good fundamentals in one or more of the following: Signals and systems, Digital signal processing, Tracking algorithms, Electromagnetics
- Ability to apply one or more of the above skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, tracking, algorithm development, and field testing of sensor systems
- Experience working with Matlab, Python, or similar scientific-based programming tools to implement math or scienced based phenomenology related to linear systems, digital signal processing, tracking, or electromagnetics
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background
- Must be a US citizen, able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
