Mechanical Engineering Intern

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join the Cablofil Team in Mascoutah, IL. Assists the Engineering Manager as assigned with the development, testing, design implementation and maintenance of all Cablofil products.

Requirements

• Learns and becomes proficient in the company operating processes and engineering software programs such as SolidWorks.
• Assists with the development of engineering schedules, budgets, projects and products as assigned.
• Documents product and packing specifications utilized by production and logistics.
• Participate in cross-functional Kaizen improvement teams as needed.
• Maintains Cablofil drafting standards in accordance with basic industry drafting and engineering standards.
• Assists with the development and maintenance of the parts catalog(s), website, submittals, instruction sheets and operation manual(s) for the assigned products.
