The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and physical structures, ensuring the proper functioning of all systems, maintaining a safe environment, and achieving budget goals.
Requirements
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures
- Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintain and repair hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.)
- Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues
- Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests
- Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment
- Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented
