Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide a full spectrum of psychiatric services at their Baytown Garth Clinic. The role involves engaging with a diverse patient base, developing clinical protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health and quality of life for underserved communities. The psychiatrist will maintain a regular schedule, offer phone availability, and participate in quality assurance programs.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor, Board-certified or Board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Current Texas medical license required
• Adherence to professional Code of Ethics
• Completion of ongoing continuing education for license maintenance
• Good standing with professional licensing board
• Credentialing and privileges must align with Legacy’s standards
• Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other relevant health benefit programs
• Cultural competency and sensitivity towards all served populations
• Effective communication skills with staff, community, and the public
• Ability to perform key duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Capable of remaining composed under stressful conditions
• Competence in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines
