Job Description
Join our forward-thinking team as a Lead Eligibility Specialist in Bilingual Community Healthcare. You will be a catalyst in changing lives by determining eligibility for essential health services and improving healthcare accessibility in the vibrant Houston community.
Requirements
- Determine patient eligibility for third-party reimbursement
- Seamlessly process data for the admission of new patients
- Efficiently coordinate and set initial service appointments
- Ensure accurate and proper coding for insurance billing
- Proactively handle inquiries from prospective applicants and patients
- Participate in required safety education programs and annual education initiatives
- Conduct site visits to support departmental functions and foster a collaborative work environment
- In the absence of the manager, serve as the first-line contact and monitor multiple clinic schedules
