Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to help shape how data fuels smarter decisions across the business. As a key member of our data team, you will design and build new, scalable data solutions from the ground up, laying the foundation for how Leapwork's data ecosystem evolves.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience from a similar role
• Experience with building or scaling data pipelines, systems, or architectures from early-stage setups or greenfield projects
• Deep knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, and Java
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Microsoft Fabric and GCP
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, hands on experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT processes and designing large-scale data pipelines
• Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex database and data processing issues
• Willingness to stay ahead of emerging technologies and adapt to the constantly evolving data landscape
