Job Description
King and Queen County is hiring a compassionate Family Services Specialist III to help children, families, and vulnerable adults. This full-time, rural county position offers flexible work in a team-based environment and opportunities to influence outcomes through program participation and outreach. The specialist will be responsible for administering programs, managing case files, and providing support to clients and families.
Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Skill in operating a personal computer and the associated software
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and interview clients
- Demonstrated ability to testify in court proceedings
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement service plans
