Job Description
The General Description and Conditions of Work requires individuals and families to determine and re-determine their eligibility for food, financial assistance, medical assistance, and other social services programs. This position involves conducting interviews, explaining benefit programs, completing required paperwork, and assisting with emergency shelter needs. Independent judgment is necessary, especially in evaluating eligibility.
Requirements
- Work knowledge of public service organizations, economic behavior, and basic human behavior.
- Understanding of eligibility requirements for social service assistance as outlined by guidelines.
