Requirements
- Provide general electronic technical support to engineering, scientific, and technical staff to plan and conduct experiments using specialized explosive, electronic and pulsed power systems at LLNL and off-site locations.
- Identify and acquire moderately complex data and results to report findings, identify problems and utilizing advanced methods, perform analysis using established methods.
- Design, diagnose, troubleshoot, test, evaluate, upgrade, and maintain moderately complex electronic and pulsed power systems.
- Contribute to moderately complex preliminary design concepts and engineering decision processes.
- Interpret and work from sketches, drawings, schematics, and verbal or written instructions to troubleshoot and resolve problems at the system, subsystem, or component level.
- Use advanced methods of data collection.
- Perform work under general supervision for the production and assembly of electronic devices and systems.
- Maintain a high level of safety while adhering to written safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
