Title Examiner

Landtrust Title Services is seeking a Title Examiner to examine and prepare title commitments and policies. This hybrid role involves working from the office in Schaumburg, Illinois and from home 2-3 days per week, with a focus on customer satisfaction. The position requires accurate examination, preparation, and handling of title-related tasks.

Requirements

• Examines search packages.
• Prepare title commitments and policies either using the search package or working from the examining checklist.
• Direct contact with Underwriter, attorneys, and closing officers.
• Prepare invoices.
• Maintain accurate files.
• Final decisions with regard to examining issues
• Final decisions with regard to what items will be insured over on final title policies
