Head of Data Engineering

We're looking for a hands-on Head of Data Engineering who enjoys designing modern data platforms, getting deep into architecture decisions, and leading by example. As Head of Data Engineering, you will set the direction for Landmark’s data platforms and lead teams responsible for delivering trusted, scalable, and high-quality data services.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading high-performing Data Engineering and Data Architecture teams
• Strong hands-on understanding of SQL and Python
• Strong awareness of, and appreciation for, open-source data technologies and ecosystems
• Experience designing and consuming APIs
• Expertise in ETL / ELT patterns, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Solid grounding in data modelling and scalable pipeline architecture
• Experience supporting ML workloads and diverse data types
• A strong operational mindset, with accountability for reliability, SLAs, and service quality
