Job Description
This role is focused on designing, building, and optimizing systems that move data through LAIKA’s pipelines. The Engineer will focus on back-end services, performance improvements, and creating reliable technologies. Strong programming experience with databases and a passion for story-telling are essential. The role involves collaboration, scalability, and automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of applied software development or engineering experience.
- Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing applications backed by databases at scale.
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, C, or C++.
- Experience with CI/CD and version control.
- Experience developing for Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems.
