Project Engineer - Solid Waste Engineer

LaBella is seeking a Project Engineer / Solid Waste Engineer to work with engineers and CAD technicians on various civil, solid waste, and environmental projects in Charlotte, NC. The role involves designing sustainable solutions for waste facilities, including land development, leachate management, renewable energy designs, and organic waste management. The company is focused on providing innovative and tailored solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
• 5-10 years' experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer preferred or E.I.T. on track to become PE
• Project management experience
• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience, including solid waste, land development, or closely related projects
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to relate to project team, clients, regulators, and contractors
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel to project sites
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Team player
• Enthusiastic about all aspects of engineering and project management
• Ability to lead projects from planning through construction
