Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 5 or more years of experience in protection and control system design and cost estimating
- Knowledge of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), NERC, NEC, NESC, NEMA, and ANSI standards
- Comfortable evaluating and coordinating the interoperability of protective relays and other equipment
- Ability to design and perform power system load flow studies and fault studies
- Familiarity with telecommunications, protective relaying, and automation
