LaBella is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves analyzing, designing, and detailing bridge projects, including report preparation and field reconnaissance. Candidates should have a strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel design, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects
- PE License
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering concentration)
- 2-5 years of experience
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, Midas Civil, EnerCalc, and MathCAD is a plus
- Experience with Charlotte DOT and Charlotte bridge projects is a plus
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Desire to work in a team environment
