The Robotic Thermal Spray Operator will support both machining and thermal spray operations by assisting with the preparation, setup, and finishing of metal components. Requirements
- Thermal Spray: Assist with component preparation and setup for thermal spray coating processes, and learn the thermal spray operation and procedures.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare and clean components using techniques like sandblasting to ensure proper coating adhesion.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and charts.
- Precision Measuring: Train to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure specifications are met.
- Quality Control: Assist in inspecting parts before and after machining and spraying for quality and accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Learn how to perform basic maintenance on machines and thermal spray equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials and equipment.
- Machining Assistance: Support machine operators and technicians in preparing and finishing components using manual grinding machines and lathes.
