Job Description
Assists Discipline Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers with all aspects of project engineering from performing engineering calculations, code reviews, and CAD drawing development.
Requirements
- Support Kuna’s engineers or architects in research and analysis of data
- Assist with major equipment and material selection, and construction specifications
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit) and equipment to develop project drawings
- Apply design standards and procedures to implement basic design
- Ensure that assigned activities and operations comply with applicable codes and regulations
- Assist with the preparation of estimates, cost reports, forecasts, schedules, account codes, budgets and change orders
- Update estimates, schedules, reports, drawings and documents based on revisions and changes to the project
- Assist with preparation of project reports including obtaining historical data and information
- Conduct quality checks of databases, documents and reports, to verify accuracy of data, information, and calculations
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and company information
- Assist in preparing, maintaining and filing of departmental policies, procedures, and manuals
