Cyber_MS_MDR - Assistant Manager

This Security Analyst position, a Level 2 Security Consultant role, is a key member of the KPMG Managed Services (Spectrum) practice. The role involves monitoring security logs, closing potential security events, and assisting MDR analysts in incident response, threat hunting, and remediation. The position requires a willingness to work in a 24/7 rotation schedule.

Requirements

• Rapidly identify, categorize, prioritize and investigate events as the initial cyber event detection group for the enterprise.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Qradar, Splunk, Logrhythm, Solarwinds, etc.) and experience in Azure Sentinel.
• Demonstrated professional experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or cyber forensics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
