Job Description
The Intake Specialist manages the referral intake process within AristaCare Health, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for infusion services. The role involves communicating with insurance companies, patients, and staff, obtaining authorizations, and documenting information accurately. The specialist will also facilitate smooth transitions for patients and support marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of intake experience and/or training (or equivalent combination)
- Basic knowledge of the Insurance approval/authorization process
- Strong PC skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
