Job Description
Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of its technology environment. This role focuses on developing security architectures, mentoring colleagues, and leveraging AI to address evolving threats. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, and a passion for security. They will be involved in evaluating, hardening, and improving Klaviyo’s infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering roles
- Deep knowledge in one or more security focus areas (e.g., cloud security, IAM, endpoint security)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Proficient in secure systems design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
- AI fluency with tools like MCP (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) and AI Agentic development
- Strong communication skills
